The Lewisville Fire Department is made up of three shifts (A, B, and C shift), that works a schedule of 24 hours on and 48 hours off. The City of Lewisville has become the 29th largest city in Texas. We currently have 8 fire stations staffed with 54 members per shift providing Fire and EMS coverage to our citizens.

The tenure ranges from new firefighters who are just beginning their career to firefighters with over 35 years of service. We have several members who have received advanced training in Dive Rescue, Advance Extrication, Rope Rescue, Wildland, and many other specialties. We have several members who also serve on Texas Task Force 2. The very foundation of our team is built on pride, honor, and integrity.

All these factors provide each shift with a pool of talent, valuable for each situation or emergency. All shifts are driven by their passion for people and their heart to serve with dignity, compassion, and respect.
